go to Sheffield Corp website and it has a link on there which shows you where is selling tickets.
I have no idea what time it finishes, though I live in Barnsley so I shall either have to run for the last train home or convince someone to pick me up since I can't drive.
Shall be seeing Avenged Sevenfold twice this year, they will be at Wacken and all :D

Lucky thing! I wanted to see them in Jan when they went to Manchester but they sold out the day before i was going to buy the tickets. I was gutted lol.
And ok thank you.
I would have to run to catch the last bus from arundal gate (which is at just gone 11), so hopefully it won't finish too late!
and I was in Barnsley the other day! Should of stalked you. :)

i hate that about gigs, i normally have to miss the last couple of songs so i can catch the train home.
Although i went and saw brand new and i refused to leave before they played jesus christ which meant i got standed in london putting 50ps into a heated toilet in the street to keep safe/ warm.I dont regret that though, it was an awesome gig!
Yeah, though i go to the carling academy alot and thats literally a few metres away from my bus stop and my buses stop running at about 11:15 and most gigs finish between 10 and 11, so normally i'm ok. :)
But most of the time i wait around outside the arena for a few hours to get to meet the bands (considering there is only one door where they can come out from so its pretty easy to meet them) so usually the buses have stopped running so i usually just get a taxi home, and they are always lined up outside the arena too so i don't have to walk far.

in Sheffield its not too bad as if I did miss the last train its close enough people would still be willing to pick me up if I got stranded like my boyfriend or mother, same with Leeds.
Though when going to gigs in Manchester, Birmingham or Nottingham I either have to beg and plead someone for a lift home or most common I just get a hotel room for the night.

Most of the time i go to london to gigs and the last train home for me then is 12.30am the next morning, so normally it's all good to get the train back.
Also just realised my first gig wasn't Lost Prophets, it was the Spice Girls when i was 8!

So far from perfect, onward we will strive.
Take it for what it's worth, this truth that you've realized.
You're not who you thought you were, it's time to see the other side of what you have become.
My first gig was Freeeee! It was that radio ones big weekend. Other bands were there but i only went for Busted. Radio One took a picture of my banner from backstage and on the picture my banner was right next to Matt's bum! The picture went on the radio one website. I was so happy. Haha.

I can't even remember my first gigs, when I was younger my parents took me to all kinds of gigs, Bryan Adams, Wet Wet Wet and Peter Andre etc. I don't even know most of them. I only remember Wet Wet Wet because I was 7 at the time and it was a really intimate gig, only about 50-100 people and fell asleep and my mother got told off by a steward because I was snoring :P

Have you ever listened to Wet Wet Wet?
Trust me falling asleep was easy!
Though it was more like 'an evening with' type gig, very few people and they hardly had the speakers blasting. Was like falling asleep with the TV on.

First gig: Em.. twas this Chicago band called The Sea And Cake in a small club in Belgium.
Worst gig: Haven't really seen a bad one. Didn't enjoy the Ting Tings too much, but that's just 'cos I'm not into them. All the gigs I've seen have had their good parts.
Best gig: Rage Against the Machine, Oxegen '08.
Last gig: As above.
Upcoming gigs: Hopefully Muse supported by Kasabian.
are you seeing deathcab at brixton?
i'll be working, so maybe i'll serve you a drink. :)
im not sure who that was aimed at but thats where i am seeing them.
I love brixton, i think it would be ace to work in a venue that holds gigs. Do you get to watch alot of gigs from back there or are you surrounding by thirsty fans?
First gig: rancid
Worst gig:franz ferdinand (1st time, but not because of the band but the creepy people around us - FF were great both times i saw them)
Best gig: rancid
Last gig:mcr

im not sure who that was aimed at but thats where i am seeing them.

yeh, it was aimed at you.
depends what bar you're on but in the auditorium you can pretty much see it all.
I roll over and hold on tightly, and whisper "If they want you, they're gonna have to fight me,"
Worst gig: Never really seen a bad one. Though when Tv On The Radio took the stage at Sasquatch Festival I almost fell asleep. Would have walked off if I hadn't been saving my spot for when NIN came on.
Best gig: Mindless Self Indulgence/The Birthday Masscre/Tub Ring. My three favorite bands all in one show!
Last gig: My brother's rap show. It was embarassing to be seen in a crowd full of kids with their faces painted like clowns, but it earned me some good sister points.
Upcoming gigs: Jason Webley, for the sixth time, haha. And maybe I Am Ghost again. And Rancid. And probably some local shows in between.
And because I am, in fact, bored. Here's the shows I've seen:
Linkin Park/The Apex Theory/(hed)pe
Linkin Park/Xzhibit/Mudvayne/Blindside
Foo Fighters/Pete Yorn
Sevendust/Soil/Switched
Adema (when they were still good!)/Lucid
Godsmack/Five Foot Thick
Goo Goo Dolls/ Howie Day
Jason Webley/The Side Project
Jason Webley alone (x3)
Jason Webley + his new band
Incubus/30 Seconds To Mars

Not as impressive a list as many on here but...
I am not perfect and I don't claim to be. And if that's what you wanted, well I am so sorry... So mighty, so hegemonic, so hating, so desecrating, so there, so nowhere, so hurting, we fall between indifference, rejection...
~*forever_lost*~; my RYL cousin. Hells; my RYL niece. Katch; my RYL big sister. Voice Of Reason; my everything.
First gig: Evanaescence in 2004 (2003?) at London's Hammersmith Apollo
Worst gig:Probably Evanescence - we were 2nd from the back on the balcony =s so could have been better =]
Best gig: The Dresden Dolls 2006 at Londons Roundhouse, and Mindless Self Indulgence at London Astoria, all the headliners at GIAN 2007/08 (apart from friday 2007), Biffy Clyro at Londons Roundhouse 2007
Last gig: Mindless Self Indulgence at London's Roundhouse July 11th 2008
upcoming gigs: Hopefully Amander Palmer in October, and The Mighty Boosh (sort of music =p) in December - will hopefully book some more soon (Y)
I think the Band for me that does the best gigs though, has to be Mindless Self Indulgence, seen em' 5 times now and they never fail to dissapoint, plus they've all touched my breasts and that makes me very happy =]
The Dresden Dolls win out for best gig purely because they are orgasmic and my ultimate favourites and make me feel alive.
anyone know what Leeds academy is like to get to from the train station.
I have no memory of having even been there before and debating going to see Less than Jake there :D
