Surely I can't be the only anime lover here! I'm looking at you, *insert name of people with manga icons*.
I'm currently watching Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo.
Quite different from what I usually enjoy watching admittedly, as romances make me emotional. (I tend to stick to thrillers and mindless comedies!) This one however balances the love out with hilarity, so rather than ending up in a ball of woe I end up in a ball of squee :) It's adorable!
What are you watching?

Oh my! Hey there :) I remember knowing you also liked anime and stuff :D I think starting this thread is a great idea! *hugs*
Right now, I'm re-watching Gravitation. I remember I really liked it when I first saw it 6 years ago, but I was more like a kid back then so my perspective upon it might have changed.
I'm also thinking of watching No. 6 idk if you've heard of it. It seemed quite nice. Will check it out :)
It is really good, the only thing is whenever Shizuo speaks all I can hear is Kyon from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Izaya is voiced by the same guy who did Koizumi xD and I find it hilarious as the characters are so different xD
Have you seen Baccano? I love that anime so much that's the whole reason i'm watching Durarara!!, they're made by the same studio and have the same author.

We need never be hopeless, because we can never be irreparably broken
I didn't know about the voice actors! Though I have to admit Shizuo's voice seemed familiar from the start. I really love those two. :) My desktop background is a picture of chibi izaya with celty lol. :)) Oh and I just loved that part when Erika said there must be 'boy's love' between Izaya and Shizuo it was just hilarious =))
I;ve been meaning to watch it. I think baccano was someone;s password for the dollars site! :))
I'll admit I did laugh at that part as well, Erika and Walker are too funny. I highly reccomend Baccano, it's a bit bloody but it is really good, it's about American gangs during prohibition era, but it has some supernatural twists, very similar to DRRR. There's loads of Baccano references in DRRR as well. Posters of characters, the password and in the part where the dollars first meet in Ikebukuro Isaac and Miria from Baccano show up! I had a small fan girl squeal at that part xD
Also does anyone use myanimelist? It's a site where you can keep track of every anime you are watching, completed or plan to watch and give it a score, I love reading through others people's lists and seeing what they enjoyed to figure out what i'm going to watch next xD Here's mine in case anyone is interested http://myanimelist.net/animelist/Palladion

Ooh I knew about the site but I didn't know you could keep track of animes like that(silly me!). Now I'll definitely make an account and I also can;t wait to watch Baccano:)
The way how they make references(sp?) of another series by the same author reminds me of CLAMP they do that quite often and also link their series. It's really interesting to watch/read them and spot characters you've seen in another series. :))
Also, Palladion if you want to watch Fruits Basket(yes, I stalked your 'plan to watch' anime list) , I highly recommend reading the manga because I found it fantastic and well it was way longer than the anime and yeah.
I just finished DRRR, that ending. Oh my. Masaomi and Saki are quite possibly the cutest couple ever, and that smile between Anri and Mikado right at the end so sweet.
Now I just have to figure out what to watch next, there's too much to choose from!

"I want to be magic. I want to touch the heart of the world and make it smile. I want to be a friend of elves and live in a tree. Or under a hill. I want to marry a moonbeam and hear the stars sing. I don’t want to pretend at magic anymore. I want to be magic."
Just finished watching K and Kobato. Both were quite good. I'm starting to have difficulties picking the next anime to watch since I've got so many listed, lol.
I've started watching Ouran High School Host Club, i'm a few episodes in and so far it's been okay. I'm not the biggest fan of pure romantic comedy anime, I prefer to watch something with a bit more action but it was recommended to me so I thought I would give it a shot.

Recently I rewatched Romeo X Juliet and have been rewatching fruits basket. But tbh I am more of a manga girl at heart.
I completely need to go and rewatch all of Fruits Basket soon. I've been meaning to for ages.
I haven't watched any anime for a while because of real life and other trivial things like that The last thing I watched was FMA: Brotherhood, which I had been meaning to watch for an eternity, (is it just me or do anime fans have the biggest and most ridiculous to-watch lists?). I started off disliking it thinking it could never replace my love of the original series....and then it completely did.
Oh god I want to hear you say,
I want to hear you say that you were wrong again
This is the first thing
I have understood:
Time is the echo of an axe
Within a wood.
Tokyo Mew Mew was actually my first anime ever!
Back then I didn't have the intelligence to read the subs in my peripheral (sp?) vision though, so I only ever watched dubs. I learned soon enough!
