That's a harder question to answer than you realise!

The first of the original films from 1977 is A New Hope, but the first of the prequels from 1999 is The Phantom Menace. Depends if you want to watch modern or old, in order or not!

I'd go with A New Hope though personally, I like the original films better than the newer ones.
