The psych has suggested i do more community activities but didn't actually know of any. I am in Sussex, does anyone know of any?

I'm not sure either but was wondering if your church might be a good place to ask?

Thanks for your help. When this coronavirus thing has stopped, there is a small shop run by volunteers at the church. I'd like to do that, but obviously can't right now. Also my parents would have to be assured of my safety because it is right in the middle of town with SH/suicide temptations.

That sounds like a good plan for when you're able to do it. I suppose a lot of community activities have been put on hold at the moment because of covid which unfortunately makes it difficult to find something to get involved in!

What about virtual meetings? Do you have any specific interests or things you'd like to try? Maybe if you can think of a few you can look up if any places near you are doing virtual meetings for now. It could be a good way to ease into things. Like virtual workout classes, book groups, etc..

Please do not give me virtual hugs unless you are only using the hug function on threads. Thanks.

Have you ever confused a dream with life? Or stolen something when you have the cash? Have you ever been blue? Or thought your train moving while sitting still? Maybe I was just crazy. Maybe it was the 60's. Or maybe I was just a girl... interrupted.
I know what it's like to want to die. How it hurts to smile. How you try to fit in but you can't. How you hurt yourself on the outside to try to kill the thing on the inside. I tried groups, didn't work out just made my depression a lot worse.

I think he meant face to face things.

Hmmm. Is it possible to ask him to clarify that? Because it's difficult to find safe face to face activities right now. I think you're right that there's some to consider in the future, but unsure how much will be possible atm.

Have you ever used meetup? A lot of that is online at the moment but I know before local lockdown there was starting to be some real life meetings, usually outdoors. And even if they're online for now, when this light public health crisis is over you might feel more confident attending real life events if you've met some of the participants online already.

No other sadness in the world would do
