When I had a nape I'd take gauze, soak it in the sea salt solution and hold it on my neck. Worked pretty well. The only stuff I use on piercings is sea salt and antibacterial soap in the shower. That's it.
I want to stay in love with my sorrow.
Oh, but God, I want to let it go.
If you look in the mirror and don't like what you see, you can find out first-hand what it's like to be me.
You'll need a symphony to give sympathy to the girl with the worst luck in town.
When I care, it curls me up on the floor and I swear I can't do it anymore.
^^ I have 2 napes now yay! For some reason where I live its called a nuchae. Anyone else heard of that?
Is rejection an inevitability for all surface piercings? Mine are lookin' pretty good at the minute. Theyve given the least trouble out of all my piercings.
Another question: This is sorta wierd but I have two scaffolds on the same ear and one is vertical (helix to inner conch). I cant seem to be able to fit my ipod headphones in my ear cause of the bar! Anyone suggest a smaller or different earphone I could use please? Wow now I feel silly for askin..
^ i wouldn't say inevitable...just likely. All my surface piercings grew out within months, but a friend of mine has a vertical clevage bar that has been in for well over a year now. I guess it comes down to your own body and how you take care of those piercings
I have had mine done now since may 2007. They were a bit annoying to begin with especially when it was that time of the month. It took about a year for them to fully calm down.
Get them pierced with bars. What kind of other things would you like to know?
I'm thinkin of changing all of my jewellery to blackline jewellery simply because it's so pretty. :) Just wondering if this material is of any benefit to piercings? Would it be better for piercings than SS?
Thanks.
Probably sounds like a stupid question but my little red bump at my tragus piercing has finally gone away - woo hoo, looks pretty again : ) It seemed to suddenly reduce a few days ago (weeks of soaking it) and has now practically gone. Now it's gone, is it likely to stay away? Is there anything I can do to prevent it returning? How long should I leave it before I change the jewellery as the ring I have in is a bit too big and makes it more prone to catching. The piercing was done around 3 months ago.
Thanks!

I just started on my piercing journey recently. I love it. Who needs drugs when you can get piercings? Lol.
About piercing it yourself... bad bad bad idea. Mine got so infected when I let my friend do it. My lip was swollen for 2 days and I couldn't eat, drink or brush my teeth. Plus, I took it out and it has an ugly scar, not like the minimal one professional piercings leave. I pierced the other side of my lip and although it hurt more, it is healing so much better. Is it safe for me to re-pierce the other side? The guy pierced my new one so it would be even in case I wanted snake bites. Is it safe and will it hurt more?
I got my cartilage pierced with a gun and although it healed okay I'm scared my ear's going to fall off or something lol.
A couple more questions: What is a targus? I have to repierce my lobes. How long do I have to let it heal before I can gauge them? What's that piercing on the outside of your ear drum, on that little flap of skin by itself? I want one. If I get an industrial, can I put piercings under it? How do they do an industrial?

Firstly, you answered question one with question three.
The others I don't know off the top of my head, but I hope that helps so far.
Thanks! I want all of those....... : ) I'm a pierce-a-holic! I only have 7 right now and I don't feel like it's enough.
And everyone is right.... price doesn't matter. I got my tongue and lip each for $10. I think that's roughly about 20 pounds and they both healed wonderfully. No problems. And they were done with needles XD.
