I've just had my last dbt pre-treatment session today. First group next Thurs and first 1:1 on the Friday. I'm feeling a little daunted about it all - so much to learn and practise.
I've just gotten rid of some meds I was starting to stash as I promised I would in my session. Feel ok about it now but not sure I will later.
Going to get my nails done for first time ever later this afternoon as a treat. Then meeting friends for coffee.

Hey! That'd make Me OLD too , 31 , although 30 is a very daunting one , It was for me , I had a date and plan I was very depressed , Then the day before my birthday my Grandma Died , Kind of smacked my head into perspective. I hope you have a good birthday Carrie.

Thanks, will be going to my sister's for a few days and spending it with her and her family and the kids always cheer me up. My brother even got me a present this year - a really nice watch as a joint birthday/christmas present :)

I think we all have a child inside ourselves - ''the child within'' - and sometimes I think we need to nurture her and let her play. Just because you're an adult by age doesen't mean you're not a child at heart. And thats not necessarily a bad thing. It's just learning the right times to let her run free.

My last car always had something wrong with it and my new car seems to be falling into the same pattern. Cars and laptops never seem to be without their problems for me!

I had to have every tyre replaced - and my spare - they weren't road legal/one was flat as a pancake but stupid me for not repairing it so was my spare. I ended up nearly £300 lighter!
