Morning all.

No plans, just food shop as normal and really need to crack on with some gardening.

Do you want to go to B&Q for me? =P

Would if I could np!

I'm washing my bedding and did my mountain of washing up. Yes. My life is THAT thrilling.

Ah I also have the mountain of washing up to do too. And desperately need to put my summer duvet on the bed. So yeah, my life is much the same!

I'm not sure you'd want to go if you knew my B&Q shopping list - mostly bags of gravel! Which I won't be able to fit into my car all in one go. Thinking that it can wait until next week... I also want compost for some tomato plants. Does Asda sell compost?

Hmmm, I shall see later then! Kinda need a lot of it though. B&Q/Wickes don't seem to want to deliver.

All I know about shopping is food shopping and online shopping for random non-needed things.

I hope you get to go for a walk later Tamo.

Yeah that's probably exactly why.

I'm sitting in a patch of shade in my garden, having a break from trying to get things planted.

Afternoon all. I am struggling to breathe today due to the high pollen and the fact that there's a fire less than 5 miles away. Sitting inside with windows closed. Throat feels like it's tightening up. Plus my back is hurting.

My postcard to the USA has arrived! I originally sent it over 3 months ago and it never arrived so I sent it again about 10 days ago. I sent another at the same time to another address in the USA and 2 to Russia but they havent arrived yet. But Russia post is slow at times even before the coronavirus.

Antihistamine? Inhaler?

Chicken run is good.

I've watered the plants and fed the cat. Wating peanut butter porridge now. What's everyone else up to?

I have taken benadryl. They have managed to put the fire out now. Between the two of them my throat is near normal. I am just more breathless than normal.

I'm trying to decide how badly I want to maybe see the Falcon 9 in the sky... and whether it's worth a trip out in the dark later. =/

I just watched the launch online, pretty amazing! I've not looked into the skywatching side of it - what will there by to see from the UK? I'm really far north so it gets dark super super late so I probably won't be able to stay up late enough to pitch black, even if the skies are clear!

It was very amazing.

It's passing by at about 10:15 but really low on the south west horizon... so unless you're up high and have a clear view it's unlikely to be seen. And possibly not up north anyway? I don't know.

I can get somewhere higher with trees in the distance so not a clear horizon view... but it's a bit of a trek in the dark with not proper paths... for something I might not actually be able to see.

Argh, I don't know what to do.

See how the weather is maybe. If the conditions are good then these are the sort of things that are hard to regret doing!

It is amazing what we can do when we put our minds to it as a species. If only most of the efforts were directed generally in a better direction

The weather is good, but I think I'll just have a look in the garden instead... I'm not really meant to be wandering around in the dark in the place I want to go, heh.

And yes, totally agree. One day the world will devote itself to good pursuits and Starfleet Academy will become a real thing. =P
