I am going to an job interview early next week which is making me excited and nervous, but I'm going to try and make it a positive experience and show them my best qualities :)
That's awesome about the interview! It makes me so happy to hear that you're trying to make it a positive experience. :)
Thank You, I am going shopping today to buy some smart clothes to wear
I feel quite odd as 2 weeks ago I was making stupid plans and couldn't leave my bed, couldn't talk to people, though people were spying on me, saw no point in doing anything.
And then two weeks later I have an interview, I'm getting up and eating well, I'm enjoying see my friends and socialising, I realise that no one is spying on me and the thought of having a full time job doesn't seem daunting anymore it seems like a giant leap forward!
Well done Emma! Using words instead of your body is a much better way!
Alex (i think!) well done for managing to resist urges! Hopefully it will get easier for you in time...
Laura, good luck for the interview this week! It sounds like you've come on lots in the last two weeks, hope you manage to keep it up and everything goes well!
I went out with my family for a walk today even though things are a bit difficult! I would normally hide away, but i haven't been out properly in a while so this was quite a big thing...
Proud of you all! <3
And there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears. And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears...
Well done Auror, it does sound like you've been very productive. I hope they got back to you about taking the lessons and talking with your roommate went well :)
I've not been very heroic, but i have gone to college, and resisted some urges.
Hope you're all being as heroic as usual <3

The awkward moment when there are too many heroes to comment on individually... you're all pretty awesome though.
Yesterday I had a meeting with the college boss, which I'd been putting off for weeks and weeks. It actually went really well. I found out that I haven't done enough to pass the year, but I may not have to repeat after all - he told me about some colleges that I could probably get into based on my (not very good) school exam results. Pretty good colleges too (he himself went to one of the colleges he mentioned, as did two of my teachers). So I guess my act of heroism for this week was looking into new options and possibly getting the chance to start doing a BA in September.
Carmen, the horseback riding sounds awesome! Let us know how it goes. :) And well done for initiating conversation with your roommate, and starting to put together the things to sell! Sounds like you have been very productive.
Kia, sounds heroic to me. Well done, keep fighting! You got this.
Bee, that's wonderful! Sometimes those are the hardest things.
*sends love to Kat and Lana*
Conor! That's so great. I'm so glad that you're looking into your future and finding out there are options! I'm really excited to see what you do.
I'm sorry I haven't had very many heroics to report lately. But I'm trying, so hopefully that counts for something.
Laura- well done for resisting bad activities and for the interview! Hope you got the job!
SilentBoy (Do you use your real name on the boards?)- ssshhhhh. And hooray for going to the doctors and not cutting =D
SavingGrace (Bee? [Not sure if that's your name or a cryptic custom user title!!])- well done for taking your meds and for putting your CV together; I know how taxing that can be!!! And good show on getting up and showering and leaving the house!
Aamanee- so pleased you made it through those three days; congratulations!
Kia- So glad you're experimenting with breakfast; it's a great meal! And well done for getting out for the walk with your family- I hope you enjoyed the fresh air :) Also well done for going to college and resisting urges.
Ritzi- I agree! Emma, is a wonderful hero <3
Alex- Well done for resisting those urges!
Auror- hooray for being productive! Horseback riding sounds great, I hope it goes really well :)
Conor- Well done for speaking to the boss, and I'm so glad it was productive! What sort of thing would you like to study?
Ilana- you're a hero because you tried <3 Keep trying!
In Jenna news, I am engaging in ALL the ED-recovery thoughts, and am also going to speak to a doctor on Friday about the nausea which is making manning up and eating burgers somewhat challenging. I also bought NONE of the sharp things when out shopping yesterday. *nods*
Conor- Well done for speaking to the boss, and I'm so glad it was productive! What sort of thing would you like to study?
I'm thinking either English or Psychology. I know studying psychology has become something of a cliché on RYL, but having studied it on an introductory level for the past two years, it turns out I have a certain aptitude for it. The handful of RYLers who have woed at me in private would probably agree that I also have the air of a counselor at times. :P
Congratulations on your pro-recovery attitude, I hope you manage to beat your ED. And well done on not buying sharp objects too. :)

Woot for psychology! (absolutely not biased attitude)
Also, trust me, studying psychology is a cliché not only on RYL but in the real world too.
Well done everyone. I have no more to add. *moonwalks out*
Jemima Puddleduck, you're pretty cool. Keep on keepin' on.
And I will definitely keep trying.
Conor, psychology sounds like fun! And it's always nice to study something you have an aptitude for. Fun fact, psychology is the most common major to graduate with from my school, but not to enter with (the most common entrance major is pre-med).
Yesterday I managed to keep down some food, granted not very much, but I've been struggling a lot lately and that was big for me. I also managed to write an essay while I was distracting myself that didn't even totally suck. And I mailed ALL the letters that I'd been meaning to mail for awhile, that's a pointless heroic but I was proud!
