Had a terrible day. My leg will take a minimum of 4 months to heal. I absconded from general hospital. Met a very nice police man whose car I had every opportunity to steal and didnt. Came back and poured a kettle over my hand which they haven't even got a dr to look at. Had a diasterous ward round where the consultant said being here isn't helpful or useful for me and there is no plan but she won't discharge me.

I did speak to an advocate though. So I'm hoping for some clarity tomorrow or I will start appealing the section.

Lillie, did they suggest what could be helpful? I’m guessing the priory has a lot of groups and things to keep occupied? Did they look at your meds.

What would you like to happen when you go back to your mum? You speak you even shout for help and honestly I can’t think of anyone who has been more let down than you but have you got any suggestion as to what you would find helpful?

So at the Cassel what was beneficial there as I know it didn’t help but there must of been something however little.

There are no groups. No meds changes either.

I would like to go back to plymouth immediately.

It was good to have support with everyday things at the Cassel.

Is that where your mum is? Have you asked for a change? There’s lots of patient in the area I work who try clozapine for eupd if that helps at all. It’s meant to help with self harm and impulses.

What do you think they could do?

I don't have many words but I'm glad you spoke to an advocate and I hope they can help you figure out what you need and express those needs.

I'm so tired of this. Found out today I will probably be here at least another week. With no plan. No treatment and no purpose.

What would you like to happen over the week, if you take not being there out of the equation?

I just give up. Shut up. What's the point anymore. Nothing I say is heard.

What do you feel isn’t being heard? One step closer offered support and you bit at her, unfairly. It sounds like they can hear how much you’re struggling cos otherwise they’d just discharge you surely?

What do you want from this thread? We can hear how distressed you are but people are trying to support you and you’re not really wanting to do things to help. People are trying. What do you want the ward to do? What have they said...

I didn't think Lillie was aiming that at me. *shrugs if so anyway*

I don't think you should give up or shut up (if that's what you were meaning) you definitely won't be heard if you do that. What is it that you're saying that you feel isn't being heard?

I wasn't aiming my comments at anyone.

I'm appealing the section. If I'm so ill I have to be detained against my will then I should be receiving treatment and I'm not.

I didn't think you were aiming that comment at anyone. It just sounded like frustration to me! And understandably. You definitely should be receiving some sort of treatment.

What would you like to happen Lillie? Before this admission you were adamant you wanted them to take you seriously and offer more support. What would you like that support to look like?

Re your section- a 2 is mainly for assessment so yes, legally they can detain you to assess and not offer treatment.

I just want understanding. I'm not a perfect person. And it seems unless you are perfect on this website people get frustrated with you. I'm never good enough for anyone.

I want support in the community. Like help to engage with social life and support to make sure I maintain my house and that. And someone to talk to. There is no one to talk to here.

Hopefully when you're discharged they can put things like that in place. But they need this time while you're in a safe place to work out what to do, so do tell them what you think will help.

It's a shame that your community support wasn't put in place early on, maybe this crisis point could have been avoided. Please let them know what you need and hopefully some things can be sorted to get you well and get you home and doing good.

Could they possibly arrange some support through social services or local organisations for when you get out? I do think it’s awful support wasn’t put in place for when you moved. That level of stress is bound to have an impact on anybody’s mental health.

I'm sorry you feel unheard. I can totally see why that would be the case given that you've been lacking support for years now. That must be really frustrating & infuriating.

Sending you love. <3
