Too old for this

I get tired of my visits home to my mother, 96 and my sister who lives with her, who drinks daily.
Sister is very verbally abusive to me.. And can't deal with my rel. With mother.. we're both in our midv60s.. When I have enough I get in her face and have an argument... Just like our teen years...If I stand up for my self, it gets heated and Mom gets upset.
I'm a Christian and have prayed many years... I'm here at this site because I don't trust to share this with fill I know that maybe can't relate.

Hi there,

Welcome to RYL. I'm sorry to hear that you have a difficult relationship with your mum. Is your mum a Christian as well? If so, maybe the two of you could meet with a pastor (or equivalent, you didn't say which denomination) to talk through some of your differences and hopefully reach a better understanding of how to relate to each other.

No other sadness in the world would do
