Colouring books helped me a month ago. I only have one, it was bought for my mother but I ended up using it. This is from Johanna Basford's Enchanted Garden. They took a while to do but I'm happy with how they all turned out..

Squirrel

Spirit Tree

Oh wow, such talent.

I'm glad you have a good coping mechanism.

I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.

I forgot to ask, what do you use to take your photos?

Thank you for your kind words one_step_closer and nonperson! It's appreciated.

nonperson- I use a little compact digital camera with a zoom. It's a Canon SX720 HS. I remember buying it in a sale. I'm used to using Digital SLRs and an old film SLR but I gave mine away years ago. I have many pictures from the past on the computer. It's really the editing that's bringing the pictures 'out' with the composition. The original pictures are quite dull to me.

I have a digital SLR that I've not used for years and used to do quite a lot of photo editing. I agree that it definitely brings the pictures out!

Digital SLRs are a lot of fun . I need a manual function on my camera otherwise I'm not happy.

This is what I consider grounded psychedelia (without drugs). I like breath and creative flow so I thought I'd share some of my work that's expressed death or recovering my mind from the abuse I've gone through. I won't share what each one means but I am expressing something about my environment which was outdoors a lot. I had trouble staying inside. This is only part of what I want to share but I don't want to clutter the thread too much at the moment.

Thanks for the comments. Here are some designs from last year. They all come under the 'temple music' category. I don't know how these happened but they just did.

Ten thousand people, maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never share
No one dared
Disturb the sound of silence.."
