Soup season is the best. My faves are roasted carrot and coriander and chestnut & sage.
I'm ill and couldn't be bothered to make some so just had tescos finest sweet potato and chilli - very nice!

Oh no! Not soup.
Chicken soup is not the answer, if you really feel like you need it because you've had too much mushroom and you're feeling like lumpy minestrone, have tomato soup instead.
Please tell me someone else remembers the soup thing?
