You won't be able to take care of the baby without financial support.

Some people, when they hit rock bottom, they dont have that person in their lives to pick them back up
The mirror can lie, it doesnt show you whats on the inside.
I dont think im fixed, people think that your like a car in a body shop, you go in, they fix you and your out, you work like your brand new, it doesnt work like that at all
Sometimes i dont understand my self.

you wouldn't be able to provide for a child, and although right now that won't seem like a priority once you had a child it would become one.

Can we get back to the main point of this though? It keeps going off onto tangents...

1. Do you want to stop self-harm?
2. Can you list some reasons to stop self-harming?
3. How do you think we can help you to stop-self harming
4. Are you going to contact your doctor?
5. Do you know what to say to the doctor when you see them?

That would be pretty unfair on the baby. Babies are human beings that rely on you totally, not a distraction or something you can use for attwntion or whatever, or to make you feel better

without sounding dismissive no you don't!
First and foremost, the person you decide to have a baby with you will be bound to for life! If you want a future relationship, you will forever have the third wheel in the form of the father hanging over your head.

Secondly, for a baby you need a secure home, you need to be able to take responsibility and make huge decisions because it will not be your life anymore, it will be you and your babies. They will scream, cry, need constant attention, care. They will need to be fed (you will need to have a steady income of money), changed, bathed, you will need to change your entire routine to fit their needs, you will have to make sacrifices, you will not be able to go out and see your friends whenever you need, you will not be able to buy clothes or spend money on yourself whenever you please.

Growing up you will need to cook their dinners, arrange bedtimes, get them to school, do their homework, make sure they have the right clothes and that you have money to provide anything they may need. Weekends will be filled with entertaining them no matter how exhausted you are, there will be tantrums and arguments, you will want to tear your hair out and if you're a single mother this will be even more intense.

Believe me, having a baby is not easy and children should not be out having children.

Let us go then you and I, when the evening is spread out against the sky, like a patient etherized upon a table

Ashleigh, are you hoping to get 1000+ replies to this thread like you did with your locked thread?

Its not a case of you dismissing what i've said. I've been legal guardian to my sister for nearly three years now, she's 8 years old. And I love her to pieces, she's so brilliant. But its a big commitment, you can't be selfish with a young child, you have to think ahead, have a plan, be able to be there for them and any mistake they might make, thats being a parent.

Judging by your posting, you are clearly not ready for a child if you can't even take care of yourself.

Babies are hard work!

Did you honestly think it would be a walk in the park?

You are not ready to reproduce if you think it will be easy!

BUT this is on a tangent, so answer the questions people have given you
