I have got on with previous CPNs so I don't think I'm the problem. My mum and support workers are also in agreement that I'm being treated very badly by them lately. I just feel like they're making me feel worse. I am on a section 117 so I'm not sure. I'm obviously concerned that I could lose the support workers. I guess I need to talk to them about it.

Have your mum and support workers voiced concerns? What did previous cons do that current team isn’t doing?

117 prob would make it very hard for you to discharge yourself tbh. And it would be the 117 that entitled you to funding for support workers. I would imagine it would be MH team who were funding that as part of your after care.

Yes they have and my mum is actually going to try chasing the CPN up today.

I just had a connection with them and felt I could trust them and they saw me regularly and just supported me.

I doubt they'd care if I wanted discharge myself...I think they'd let me. But having thought about it it probably wouldn't be wise to get discharged at this point.

I hope your mum gets hold of your CPN. How are you today?

Thank you. She's calling her right now so I hope something positive comes from it. Not feeling great. I just feel hopeless.

Did your Mum manage to speak to the CPN?

I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.

She did. They've given me an extra 3 hours because I'm classed as being in an "emergency situation" and hopefully they will look into getting me more but apparently there's a lot of paperwork to do.

That's a good start, I'm glad additional support has been put in place for you and the process has begun into hopefully getting you more support.

Thank you. The psychiatrist rang my support worker to ask if I was okay and asked if I wanted home treatment. I've said yes but I'm anxious about it. I am grateful though that he seems to care, unlike the CPN.

It doesn't mean the CPN doesn't care but it's good that you feel the psychiatrist has been helpful. What are you anxious about?

I don't think she does at all. Just having new people round worries me.

Not under home treatment team but my psych and a social worker randomly turned up at my flat and asked to come in. They were talking about sectioning me. I'm so relieved that they've gone.

Did they offer you any useful support or advice?

Not really. They just threatened hospital, told me I need to take my meds and that I need to "work with them."

Have you been managing to take your meds? Did they explain what they meant by you have to work with them? If they're not offering you anything other than hospital then that's not really giving you anything to work with, in my opinion.

I keep forgetting. Before they left they made me take them infront of them. Tbh they haven't offered anything. Just told me to ring duty or crisis when I need to which I rarely ever have the confidence to do.

Do you think maybe if you took your meds and showed them younwere working with them that they might offer other suggestions? I guess there isn’t much they can do if they think you need a chemical boost and you’re not taking meds. Do you set alarm re meds? Do you want to take meds?

I take them most of the time unless I forget. I try alarms but that doesn't always work. I don't really want to have to take meds but I guess I accept that I need to.

What is it about setting an alarm that doesn't work? Is it a reminder thing you're using so when the alarm goes off there is a message about why the alarm has gone off?
