2 and 5 are new favourites while 1 has been a favourite for many years so it's hard to stray

I've seen every single episode of both but 1 has been going longer and I've watched a lot of the episodes twice... or 5 times.

Kind of hard to talk about wrestlers as "characters," even though most of them do play characters. My favourite wrestler at the moment is CM Punk, not because I like his character (though I do), but because he's excellent in the ring and on the mic, and just an all-round great worker.

3 changes pretty often and is very inconsistent in quality, but the cast of 5 is consistently very good, so I'll go with 5.

Hard to say really. 2 has great theme music, but 4 has music for every TV show and PPV, as well as every single wrestler. I'll go with 4 for variety (bonus points for using "Cult of Personality" as CM Punk's theme).
