My name is Dave im 41 , (nearly 42, on june 23 -2007) eek even older, Ive been here at RYL for about 6 months, I was a storekeeper at a power station for last 20 years. Now ive left on Ill Health Retirement because of Bullying , i have found great support at RYL, and in the Vets Forum.
I'm a caring, compassionate easy going, often funny, and supportive old Dragon, who has been through A LOT of life experiences .
My History,
i have been in a Traumatic relationship/marriage for 10 years, I'm now divorced from my Ex phew, and been bullied at my work place over 4 year period by my best friend , who is no longer my best friend.
I Self Injure - cut , i have done for about the last 2-3 years, I have
Reactive Depression, have been suicidal, and still battle suicidal thoughts, Entrenched trauma , I guess social anxieties too right now, ive been told im suffering symptoms of PTSD, although they refuse to diagnose me or treat me even if i only have some symptoms, and pretty much want me to never mention PTSD with them again. Better stop there or i will rant like crazy.
I love the martial arts and Bruce Lee Is one of my Heroes, i have achieved a Black Belt 3rd dan in Ju-Jitsu, and an Orange Belt in Aikido, I havent trained in a long while but its still there (somewhere). I have achieved through PADI , open Water Diver Status diving upto 18 mtrs Deep.
Ive dived with tiger sharks in Blue Planet Aquarium awsome experience . Love animals, esp Cats, Dogs.

Hi I'm Emma and I am 18 (19 next month)! I have SI'd since I was 13/14 and remember lurking around Ruin.
I am supposed to be going off to uni this september to study History (or English if they are nice and let me swap course) at Warwick. At weekends I work doing birthday parties for children aged 5-12 and also as a giant owl.
I'm Ashley...everyone calls me Ash. I'm 22 and live in georgia in the u.s. I work as a visual merchandising, which is basically setting up displays and dressing mannequins. Umm ooh I just graduated from uni with a marketing degree on may 10th. I got out of an abusive marriage almost a year ago. Sucks being a 22 yr old divorcee but it is the best thing I could have ever done for myself. Let's see...oh i started self harming when i was 15. I am doing well with recovery at the moment...I think i am like a month or two free..not exactly sure. I try not to count because I feel like I put more pressure on myself when I know the numbers. Umm yeah...ask if you wanna know anything else!

My wife (recovered/relapsed anorexic) left me on New Year's Day and I've been struggling to get by since. I'm depressed (on SSRIs) and have started to self harm again. I previously harmed for 12 months or so when I was 15-16. Been lurking for a week or so and decided to take the plunge on the shiny new boards.
That's me. I guess I'll be asking for some advice in the future.

I'm 22 and from Newcastle... but im not a geordie, never really got the accent. I joined RYL about 2 years ago, actually i joined then ran away (not due to the site, more due to me trying to get over losing someone with the same name as a certain webmaster around here, and me freaking out at seeing his name everywhere ) only to come back a few months later and stay for good.
my history with SI has been on and off since i was 12/13 and at one point i pretty much stopped for 3 years. currently 2 days short of being 16 months free (we'll ignore the slip ups).

Hello! *waves emphatically* I'm Francesca, known throughout the interweb as Touch Van Der Boom. I'm 23 and in my final year on a degree in English and Creative Writing, after which I will be trying to be a writer and performance poet and studying for an MA in Women's Writing. I live near Southport with my boyfriend. I've been cutting since I was 14 and it has gotten progressively worse, I unfortunately don't see myself stopping anytime soon but I'm in therapy - yay!
