i just saw the new film, the time traveller's wife and its amazing! if you liked the notebook you will love this! i cried for like the last half on hour of the film. its sooooo good. has anyone read the book? i really want to after seeing the film.
"Tonight i will dance on the graves of all my darkest days,
and erase all the worries of all the time i wasted, my scars may never go away but i'll learn not to mind them along the way"
The book is awesome, like a million times better than the film. They cut out all the good bits of the book in the film (yeah, I know they can't have everything in, but they swapped the best line around - ie, Henry's meant to say to future Alba 'don't tell mama...' (not completing sentence cos of spoilers) instead of Claire finding out from present Alba)
Well I didn't read the book (will now though, definately...) but I thought that the movie was great. Although I was the only person under 30 in the theater. I went with my mom. Not sure why but it was all old people :) But yeah, it was wonderful.
this is my magical medicine cabinet. Left to right they contain: courage, hope, calmness, and strength.
The magical part: They NEVER run out, so borrow some any time you want.
I'm really not wanting to see the film because I loved the book so much, and book-to-film films just never live up to the book... I probably will see it, but eh.
Wake me up before I change again
Remind me the story that I won't get insane
Tell me why it's always the same
Explain me the reason why I'm so much in pain.
Rockaroni, I totally know what you mean about not wanting to see the film because of loving the book so much! I was really worried it would just ruin the book, but the film was really well done and I actually really enjoyed it! :) The book though...*blissful sigh* I just love it :)

This...
Although I quite want to see the film, out of curiosity.
I have to say, though, when seeing the advert, I think the person that plays Henry looks much like I imagined him to look, which is good :)
Well, my mum said it was good, but they miss out a lot of stuff that's more or less important. hnrrrr. I don't think I'll go to the cinema to see it, I'll wait for the DVD so I can forget the books details a bit more.
