Wow I totally love this thread!!!

Let me see. Its been about 6 months!! With one or two slip ups but I think I've done absolutely bloody amazingly fantastically well. I mean there are still urges but I can handle it! I'm in control. I'm in recovery and I'm getting my life back on track!!

The other day my daddy and I were at the pub and he said that he'd forgotten to tell me how proud he was of me for coming so far and not SIing in so long. And it made me think that we should all be proud of ourselves for so many reasons. So yeah. It may be big-headed but here's to me and to everyone else on RYL!!

Congratulations on managing for 6 months.
It is really good that you now feel in control, do you mind me asking what has helped you feel more in control?

Well I've finally got the proper support from the NHS and also my family. The best thing you can do to get back in control is to firstly throw your sharps away and get some new mechanisms in place to deal with urges but also to talk talk talk. Get help. Take time out. Find yourself again without the self harm. And don't be afraid to ask for support.
