That's good, I hope the writing helps you communicate. What are you doing with your day to try and ease your struggle?

I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.

Don't try to calm the storm, calm yourself, the storm will pass.

I'm watching Harry Potter and praying. When the film finishes I will continue working through my coping skills list.

It was ok, he encouraged me to think positive. Stressed me out a bit but today I feel better.

Appointments can be really stressful. I'm glad you're feeling better today though. Have you been trying to practice positive thinking?

When I try to think positive it stresses me out so I'm just trying not to think about it.

Maybe allowing yourself to have more neutral thoughts or accepting your negative thoughts but not dwelling on them would be better for you. I hope you can find what works for you.

You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you wish to make.

I'm ok. I spend the first part of the day fighting SI thoughts and the rest anxiety.

Sorry to hear that. Would it help to talk about the SI thoughts?

There's all different thoughts - heights, ligature, cutting, purging. But they pass as the day goes on.

I’m glad the thoughts pass although i know you must be fighting really hard. Please keep fighting, you’re doing a great job.

I'm glad that they pass as the day goes on. Are you able to identify any triggers for the thoughts?

I'm not sure. I think I will try not reading the support forums until later in the day, see if that helps.

That does sound like a good plan if the forums can be triggering for you. It’s also ok to take a bigger step back if you just want to focus on getting support and using the boards you’re more comfortable with.

A patient asked if I was pregnant. I thought I was a healthy weight.

They're planning to discharge my sister on Monday. She's not suicidal or self harmy the past week.

It's hard when patients say hurtful things but try to remember they are ill and don't always speak the truth. I would ask your mum if she thinks you are a healthy weight as you can trust her opinion.

Am glad you sister is improving. How does the prospect of her being discharged make you feel?

My mum and sister both say I'm a healthy weight, and I know I'm a healthy clothes size.

I think I feel good about N being discharged. She does seem genuinely better and I have missed her.
