Positive recovery post - Self Injury Recovery and Awareness Booth

I have decided to tell the world, well my university, about my self injury

. I haven't conquered it yet, but I was offered a booth in the health and wellness fair that is coming up close to SIAD and I want to do one based on self injury. I am really excited, but nervous at the same time.

I plan to have orange ribbons, butterfly temporary tattoos, brochures and information, a list of distractions, an example of an "Uh Oh" box, a donation bin (where the proceeds will go to RYL), and a Fact or Fiction game (where people can win candy!)
Do any of you have any other ideas of what I could add to spice it up?
Keep in mind that I'm working on a low budget (I'm paying for everything out of pocket.)

Any and all ideas or support would be greatly appreciated

I don't have any fresh ideas to add to what you already have because what you've suggested so far sounds great! Well done you for fighting for such a good cause and being ready to show people the truth about self harm :) x

As good as RYL is, have you thought about donating the proceeds to MHA or Rethink or something as I am pretty sure RYL is not a registered charity so people might feel weird about giving their money to it or something.
I dunno. Just a suggestion.

Yeah, that's a good one as well. I was looking for specifically American charities as the OP is in America and figured that people are more likely to donate if they have heard of said charity as well.
Saying that, Lifesigns appears to be a global (as much as it can be anyway) charity so yeah.
