Advice on how to talk to someone

I was in recovery for awhile. Last week I relapsed. The one person who has always been there for me during these times doesn't know. Before she always found out without me saying anything because we lived in the now that we don't I don't even know go about telling her. Anyone have any advice on. How to start this conversation?

What is it you'd like her to know? How would you like her to respond and/or what would you aim to get out of telling her? Perhaps just sit down and either think about those things or write about those things in more of a journal format (there's even a journal function on here or the rant/vent forum if you wanted). Sometimes once you can get your thoughts out it makes it easier to collect them and helps give you some means of clarification for what to say.

Please do not give me virtual hugs unless you are only using the hug function on threads. Thanks.

You can't always keep it separate.
This is happening, this is part of you.
