Self-harm in young people study

Dear all,

I hope you are well.

My name is Faraz, I am a GP in Birmingham and researcher at Keele University.

I would like to speak to young people who live in England (aged 16-25) with a history of self-harm for an interview study (either on the phone or in person).

This research study has been approved by Keele University Ethics Review Panel (ERP2417).

I am really keen to talk to young people to learn more about their experiences of care received for self-harm in the community/primary care (which includes GP surgeries). I will work very hard to ensure these views turn into better care for young people who self-harm.

There is a £10 Amazon Voucher available for the young person in return for their time (30-45 minutes).

If you are interested please get in contact with me by email: f.mughal@keele.ac.uk

The primary research supervisor is: Professor Carolyn Chew-Graham (c.a.chew-graham@keele.ac.uk).

Thank you for reading this.

Dr Faraz Mughal, Keele University
