Workplace bullying

I have been a victim of collective bullying at my workplace for quite some time. I had a legal sort of question in the hope someone maybe able to help me:

How do I obtain office mobile phone call logs between two of the employees(bullies). The company says this cannot be provided under Data Protection Act but this is crcuial piece of evidence which will show that these two people were in contact with each other(it will prove my accusations against them). The company knows they are guilty but is trying to protect itself from liability. Iam asking for only date and time of calls.

I almost wanted to take my life when I was bullied but now I want to take proper legal action so any help will be great.

I'm not sure if the police would be able to look into it?

While its not the same, I used to work in finance and the Bankruptcy Act supersedes the Data Protection Act. So the DPA is not the be and all end all, and can be broken in certain circumstances. I imagine if the police were involved it could be.
