Hot Chocolate!

So since winter is approaching, I decided I'm going to start having hot chocolate before I go to bed again... as I was making it, it got me thinking... how do you like your hot chocolate, if indeed you do actually like it?

I like Cadbury's drinking chocolate with skimmed milk, a little nutmeg & cinnamon, a tiny amount of golden syrup & one vanilla pod for flavor (I take it out before I pour the hot chocolate into the mug), steamed in a pan on the stove for 4 minutes exactly, then poured into my Homer Simpson mug (it's huge & fits my hands perfectly) & then I add whipped cream (light) & mini marshmallows.

So... what about you?

Tesco own hot chocolate. 3/4 boiling water, 1/4 milk, 2 Teaspoons of sugar.

Or sometimes Options Hot Chocolate, done completely with milk and topped with whipped cream.

I've never understood the appeal. Probably going to sound like a twonk but they can be too damn hot.

This. I have very occasionally, and can never drink it all as its too sickly.

How can you not like hot chocolate? It's delicious! I don't like it with water, though... too, um... thin.

I like it with extra chocolate melted into it and with peppermint and marshmallows. I put it in my favorite mug that has a bunny as the handle. :)

That sounds delicious!!

I'm really liking options orange hot chocolate right now, it tastes just like a liquid terry's chocolate orange, yum:) Their vanilla one is pretty good too. If I don't have options I usually just stir a spoonful of nutella into a mug of normal hot chocolate

I like hazelnut hot chocolate, made with soya milk.

I'm hoping Costa do the Black Forest one again this year - because last year was Pre-Costa for me, I never tried it and really like cherry flavour. And chocolate!

I want to try this vanilla one people are talking about! Send me some?!?!

I boil the kettle, add to the poweder, add a marshmallow and a bit of squirty cream and them sometimes add some golden syrup on top.

Imperfection is underrated.
