I am currently:
uni and mh

I received my annual report and it says my progress is slow and satisfactory, however taking medical info into consideration they are allowing progression.
This says if anything, i am average and that too on a good day.

I dont like being average/satisfactory. whoever ive spoken to says its not bad considering how much ive struggled these past months with my health. I dont see that though. i dont think it should be used as an excuse. at the end of the day i will be compared with the masses, with those who do not have mental health issues or any struggles.

I'm questioning if its worth completing something and being average at it. I do enjoy it but things like others expectations, expenses etc makes me think whether i should stick to it.

You have to do everything you can. You have to work your hardest. And if you do, if you stay positive, then you have a shot at a silver lining

Health problems can make things very difficult so the fact that you're progressing really is an achievement. It may be that you could actually do much, much better during periods when your health is improved so you're not entirely 'just' average. It's not an excuse to take into account health problems, if you're not on an equal par with others there can't be a fair comparison made. In employment there are measures that can be put in place to support people with health problems so it's not like in the future you won't be able to receive any adjustments in the workplace to make you on a more even level with other people.

I think the fact that you are enjoying uni is a really good reason to continue with it. The uni don't have a problem with you continuing. How long have you got left on your course? I think that since you have a place it would be good to carry on and see how things go. Do you have a disability advisor at uni? Maybe talk things through with them or a careers advisor if you're unsure. Good luck with everything.

It won't matter at the end of the day once you have a piece of paper at the end there will be no comparison to anyone else. I might continue my reply in a pm if that is ok?
