How is it coming with the tidying and school stuff?

We are thinking of you. We do not like hugs but we can imagine it must be really hard if that is something that helps to not be able to have them. Do you have any weighted blankets or weighted clothing? It is not the same but maybe it might help a little bit?

Can your see your friend's small humans and get some hugs? Or is that not an option right now? We are unsure what all the different rules are everywhere to know if it is possible.

Please do not give me virtual hugs unless you are only using the hug function on threads. Thanks.

Hey just let you know that that I am thinking of you, how are things now since you last posted?

Have you ever confused a dream with life? Or stolen something when you have the cash? Have you ever been blue? Or thought your train moving while sitting still? Maybe I was just crazy. Maybe it was the 60's. Or maybe I was just a girl... interrupted.
I know what it's like to want to die. How it hurts to smile. How you try to fit in but you can't. How you hurt yourself on the outside to try to kill the thing on the inside. I tried groups, didn't work out just made my depression a lot worse.

Lana, that makes sense. It does help us feel connected, and it makes sense that that would mean my mental health would deteriorate without it.

Camden, we do have a weighted blanket! V bought us one for one of our birthdays, that is a good idea. Sometimes the weight of Soot helps us feel comforted so that is a good idea. We can technically see T’s small humans but only in circumstances where we babysit. I might ask T if she and D want a night off so I can see them, thats a good idea.

Hopefully you can arrange to spend some time with the small humans, that sounds like it could be helpful.

If human company is something that you are missing I find that personal attention ASMR videos on Youtube can be somewhat helpful with that. Not sure if that's something you might want to try, just it's something that has really helped me with anxiety and that sometimes can take the edge off longing for human company.

We asked T if we could see her small humans. She said they were self-isolating because D got notification through the app that he’d been expised and they are waiting on test results.

We are kind of struggling this weekend. We are ignoring stuff and watching disney movies.

Oh gosh. I hope they end up being okay, but it's good they are trying to be safe.

What Disney movies are you watching? Do what you need to do to stay safe. Lyra sends snuggles and she says she hopes you are getting snuggles from Soot.

We watched the Emperor’s New Groove, it was good. Also managed to do some school work yesterday/today.

I have loads to do and it just seems never ending. No matter how much progress I make, theres always something else to be done.

I can understand that. It feels the same for us. There will eventually be an endpoint, even if it does not feel like it now.

When I've mentioned struggling with the same thing to my humans at school, the thing they always say is to just keep trying as best you can. That the important thing is to not give up and disappear, because as long as the humans at school know you are trying, they are going to be able to come up with more ways to help and will be more understanding if getting it all done is impossible.

Also we love the Emperor's New Groove. That is a fun movie!

Emperor's New Groove is soooo good!

I can relate to feeling overwhelmed with new tasks piling up as you try to get on top of things.
One thing at a time is good enough.

Thank you <3. Things are getting a bit easier in terms of school stuff.

I worked on some things woth my counsellor on Tuesday. I think its a bit clearer what the actual issue is, but I’m no further forward in tackling it. I just feel so useless and pointless, and oh so lonely.
