Anyone who does go and see it then remember to post your reveiws.
~If I was beautiful like you~
~Oh the things I would do~
~Those not so blessed would be crying out murder~
~And I'd just laugh and get away with it too~
~Like you do~
~But that will never be, that will never never be~
I saw it last night and thought it was awful, it's just a mix of loads of other films. About 7 people got up and left part way through, and at the end everyone was moaning about it and I heard one guy say that it should've been called 'Sh*te'.
If I hadn't been with friends I would've left after the first 15 mins...such a slow start? And yeah it can make you a bit dizzy.
Each to their own though =)
I personally wouldn't recommend it x
Two of my friends went to see it yesterday. One said it put her off her popcorn and the other didn't say anything. She seemed to be in a state of shock or something. I'm not sure if i want to see it.
I thought it was really good.
No one threw up in the cinema when I went but there was loads of posters warning you about the motion sickness in the Q for the tickets.
But yeah, I really liked it, the CGI was AMAZING. Worth it even just for that. Well that really is the only pull, the actors in it are not.. great.
I liked how it kept skipping to the previously recorded bits of the tape, I just liked that it was shot that way, it was really interesting.
Also if you stay to the end of the credits it'll go static and it'll say something, then if you play it back wards it says something else.
If you didn't hear it or can't be arsed staying to the end of the credits (They're REALLY ****ing long) i'll put it behind a spoiler thingy.
The following content has been hidden - Reason : Becausseeeee.
You hear a guy whispering "Help us"
Then if it's played backwards it says "It's still alive"
Apparently, my guy's friend told me that and he's big into films.
haha I saw this when I was visiting my cousin.
It's so amusing. I didn't think the shaky camera crap was nauseating at all, just really irritating.
It was pretty lousy in terms of... well, originality and the fact that the characters were idiots. Honestly, they consistently do the dumbest possible thing that can be done in crazy apocalyptic monster-infested army-occupied NYC.
I enjoyed the gore, though. And all the buildings getting smushed. I'd recommend it. It's entertaining.
well, i have sown untidy furrows 'cross my soul,
but I am still a coward,
content to see my garden grow so sweet & full
of someone else's flowers.
