I stopped eating

I stopped eating for a few days about a week ago , and now I can't keep food down other than soup/bread/crackers. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to how to make my stomach adjust faster?

Replies are appreciated.

*hugs* Mandy, I have just limited struggles with ED stuff, but the only time I've had trouble eating after not eating for a while was after pnemonia, I dont know how to make it get better faster. but what helped me was just to do what your doing, soup, breads, just until you build up the strength to eat more. *hugs* good luck on your recovery

Hunny its just a case of eating little and often to build back up and for a little while dont eat anything citrus-y/acidic or too spicy...then slowly intriduce stuff back in.

Smoothies are good. Anything that tempts your tastebuds, really. Mashed potato maybe also.

Im really late in replying to this but adding things in small quantities can be good. I find that fruit puree is a good way to get food in and then build it up from there.

Have small meals little and often and make sure you eat them. Sometimes the hardest part of all this is defeating the little niggling voice saying you don't want that it will only make you ill etc...
