My knuckles

Sorry if I labelled this wrong, I wasn't sure what it would fit into.

Basically, a while back, probably 3 months ago or more, I bruised two of my knuckles on my right hand. The bruising went down and eventually the pain went as well. Today and yesterday, I've noticed the pain come back in the same place as it was bruised several months ago. It's also the same kind of pain that I had when it was bruised - i.e. it hurts when I move it too far but not if I keep it in one position. I don't think it's broken because I can still move and use the fingers and there's no swelling. Nor does it hurt if I touch it. Could this pain now be related to when I bruised my hand, and if so, what can I do about it?

Thanks
Sarah

have you banged the area recntly?
The best you can do is apply ice (wrapped in a towel or something) to the area for 10mins each hour. Rest the joint where possible. Take regualr pain killers if you can take them, prefarbly ibprofen. If it dosnt ease up in a couple of days its worth getting it checked out.

I don't remember banging it, although it might have happened when I was tidying my room. The problem is, it's my right hand and I can't do much with my left, so I have to keep using it. Although I guess it's a good time to learn (!) I can take ibuprofen, so I will do that, thanks.
