Hello all.

It is horrible icy rain here right now, otherwise it's been quite a sunny day, if a little chilly.

Dawn! There was a tv theme tunes quiz on the radio this morning and Keeping Up Appearances was one of them. Made me think of you because you'd have got it instantly. I did guess it right though but wasn't 100% sure. =D

How many other themes did you get right NP?

I'm not sure actually. Missed half of the answers which is annoying because one of them I know I recognised but couldn't name. One was Last of the Summer Wine though. Definitely got that right.

How are you?

I definitely would have got Last Of The Summer Wine. Hated that programme though!

For some reason I have the Thomas The Tank Engine tune stuck in my head. *passes on*

I'm not really sure how I am. Not got anything huge to do tonight anyway. Will watch GPs: Behind Closed Doors and Critical Condition when they come on.

How are you? What are you doing this evening?

Last of the Summer Wine reminds me of my dad and grandad so I kinda like it. =)

Argh, Thomas the Tank Engine! *is successfully earwormed*

Maybe being unsure is better than knowing for certain that you feel rubbish. Hope you relax and enjoy your programmes later.

I'm... also unsure, I think. I'm so tired that I can't feel much else. Trying to decide what to do for dinner... and then I'll probably watch tv and fall asleep on the sofa with the cat.

Now I have Last Of The Summer Wine in my head!

What are your dinner options? I hope you have a good night.

It's an earworm swap! =P

I thought I might have soup tonight... but what I think I really want is a massive bowl of cheesy chips. =(

Oh, that's a dilemma. Will you allow yourself to have cheesy chips one night this week anyway? Maybe you could decide if that's today or not.

Oh, and I have a cheese related question for everyone. What is the best kind of cheese sauce to use for cauliflower cheese? Like powder mix, or recipe, or tub of sauce, or whatever?

I just use frozen chips and grate some cheese and then stick it in the microwave for a bit so it melts.

It's probably nicer to make cheese sauce yourself. I have some of that Bisto type stuff... it's alright but not as good as home made.

When I have tried to make cheese sauce in the past it ends up too thick so I put more milk in but then it's too watery so I put more flour in but then it's too thick so I put more milk in...

Do you just put cheddar on your chips?

Oh this talk of cheese!

Cheesy chips are awesome

I had paella and a beer for dinner!

I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!

Who else is fine?!?!?

Yup I just use cheddar.

Hm yes I see the problem with making it yourself. I can't say I've ever tried. There might be a sort of fresh sauce you can buy (like the tubs they do for pasta in the fridges) that would be nicer than packet mix or granules.

Very Spanish, Beckie!
