I miss Tamz. Aka "Delphynite".
But then I miss her in the real world too, seeing as I grew up with her until we went to diferent colleges. I think the last time I spoke to her was in my first term of Uni, and that was over the phone randomly.
"Mascara bleeds a blackened tear.." Hell to the yeah that was my subtitle :P
Iv, I've met you! That's nearly social?
"Be nice. Think happy thoughts. Champion silver linings. Love all things (not just cute things like babies and kittens) & when you do love - love like they do in power ballads (you know like on a cliff with the wind in your hair and your eyes shut, knowing you'll never know love like this). Watch out for dog poo. Smile at people - even grumpy ones. Remember anything is possible & whatever you do always try to look on the bright side."
tamz was alright but i never got why there was about 1000 appreciation threads for her on the first page on GC everyday.
last time i saw her she was puking all over Yates. :)
Oh Tamz puking. It's a beautiful thing.
I remember when people could get away with that. MUltiple copies of threads. These days you'd be shunned for making a thread thats been done recently before *shock horror*.
Probably for the best though.
nostalgia indeed. I was on Ruin. I came over with the switch. its been so long that my old account no longer exists. I went by many names on here (used to change weekly), but this place basically saved me many times. I also met a lot of people here (including my current wife...)
attached is one of my many avatars. I went by many names (camdawg, nascentes morimur, a lot of random latin ones I dont recall.)
just had a bad day and thought how great this place was to me; thought I'd come back and check
just recalled I didnt say how long ago...it must have been at least 3 years
omg, so many names and memeories, of times almost forgotten, i miss a lot of the people from ruin who then never made it to recover, even people from v2 who left, seems wierd to think i've been around for about 5 or 6 years, just a lot less frequently now
This is such a lovely thread, and it's lovely to be remembered too!
Felt the need to visit RYL again, I miss all the oldies, RYL was such a great place (I'm sure it still is, but a different sort of great) then. happywondering88, fox, maja, becca, sylvia, rosie, aimee, many emmas, sooo many people, far too many to remember :)
