only one more session

I'm not sure what I can say here that's 'ok', but I have one more outpatient ED therapy session.

I'm not, um, ready on many levels, but there's no other option.

Finishing therapy is a big thing. Have you managed to talk to your therapist about how you're feeling?

Have you been working towards the ending with your therapist? I know endings can be really difficult. Would there be an option of therapy again further down the line if you need it? I hope you get on ok.

Thank you both.

I did talk a bit about how I'm feeling at the session yesterday. But I am very wary because of how badly the ending went with my previous, private therapist. The difference is that CAT works towards the ending from the beginning, so I have felt more contained in that way.

I won't have any more ED therapy unless my ED deteriorates badly, and that would be some time anyway. Other therapy, who knows... my EUPD excludes me from some of what is on offer, and the CMHT are seemingly holding back on even my med review...

That's good that CAT plans for ending, so sensible. But I would have thought there are still unsettling feelings, so be kind to yourself. It's okay to ask for clarity on things, especially forward-planning with the CMHT at this time.

Thanks. :)

My GP is onto the CMHT hopefully so once she's back from her break she will update me when I see her.

That's great :) glad you have such a supportive and consistent GP. I really hope they've sorted your meds at least since you've been struggling so much with restless legs? If not, they really need a kick up the bum

I think you're dealing with everything so courageously.

Please feel free to kick them up the bum for me, or shall I blame my restless legs!!!! I'm still waiting. Had the problem a year, and was referred in June.

Thinking of you. Unsure what to say, but it sounds like things are at least hopefully better ed wise? I know that in itself can bring up some mixed feelings, but it sounds like you have had a positive experience with this therapist so that is good. I hope your last session goes positively as well and some other good support can be sorted. Is your gp good that you can get support from them if you need?

Thanks.

Things are stable ED wise at least, and better than they were 6 months ago.

My GP is thankfully excellent.

That's good! Maybe the effort you've put in to get your ed is stable when combined with your positive experience with these services could work in your favor towards getting support from other services?
