Spanish-lullabies - In reference to your sig - have you been to a battlecry rally?!?!? they're like the most awesome thing ever!
if not - then what's your sig for?
Superchick- Hold (new album)
Tell me that it's gonna to be okay
Tell me that you'll help me find my way
Tell me you can see the light of dawn is breaking
Tell me that it's going to be alright
Tell me that you'll help me fight this fight
Tell me that you'll won't leave me alone in this
'cause I need I need a hand to hold
To hold me from the edge the edge of sliding over slow
'cause I need I need your hand to hold
To hold me from the edge the edge of sliding pass
Hold on to me
Tell me I can make it through this day
I don't even have the words to pray
You have been the only one who never left me
Help me find the way through all my fears
Help me see the light through all my tears
Help me see that I'm not alone in this
AMAZING song <3
“The good things don’t always soften the bad, but vice-versa, the bad things don’t necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant.”
“Nobody important? Blimey, that’s amazing. Do you know, in nine hundred years of time and space I’ve never met anyone who wasn’t important before.”
“If it’s time to go, remember what you’re leaving. Remember the best. My friends have always been the best of me.”

AMAZING song <3
I sent Heather that! *takes full credit* jk
lol. <3 ya heather.
*shyly sticks head through doorway* Hey, can I come in?
I have self-injured for nine years, and been a Christian for three of those. I've told some of my Christian friends, and most of them try to understand, but many of them just don't get it. One thing I get a lot is "pray and read your Bible more" or "put your faith Jesus", as if my SI is merely a spiritual issue. Yes, it IS a sprititual issue, but also an emotional one, a mental one, and a physiological one. I don't understand why these same people know that things drug addiction and anorexia are more than just spiritual issues, yet they think that my problem is somehow easier to overcome. sdhgfdsldsfhks. Any advice here?
Forgive me, I have but two faces
One for the world, one for God
Save me
I cannot cry 'cuz the shoulder cries more
I cannot die
I, the whore for the cold world

Ah, also worth mentioning is that I am a minister's daughter, and I am having a great deal of trouble getting my father to understand self-injury / fessing up to my father about my continued SI. It also makes my situation a bit more awkward. I mean, as a PK, aren't I supposed to be the "good influence"? And here I am, addicted slicing myself up. What would the old ladies that sit in the front row think? ;)

Ah yes the old ladies in the front row. *giggle*
oddly enough, at my church the old ladies sit in the back row, and the young adults sit up front. so. heh. i guess that makes us old ladies! gigglegiggle.
I think sometimes it's hardest for PK's. my uncle is a minister, and my cousin has had so many problems...part of it is the expectations. You don't have to be perfect here, alright? Let's just go for honest. If you want to scream, scream. If you're angry, be angry. We're here for you, even if you feel like you have to wear a mask with the rest of the world. After all, we don't know any of the people at your church, or you parents, or your friends...=]
Also (you've probably heard this before), God doesn't have grandchildren. You aren't special to him because of who your parents are--you are special to him because you are you <3

Reason: spelling
I ran across this song quite some time ago...I was wondering what you all think? I was thinking of maybe doing a human video to this song, or something.
"Bleed Like Me" by Trapt
Have your nails scratched the deepest
Have you broken skin this time
Made your mark and took me deeper
As you drown me with your eyes
I held my hand over your mouth
As you scream at me to feel
You felt my scars with understanding
But I can't promise anything
Can you tell
That I picked my poison well
That I have no more to sell to you
Is it really that important that I settle down
Does it really even matter that I have my doubts
I search for the one who bleeds
I reach for the one who bleeds
I forget to dream in color
I am better off alone
Honest hearts are undercover
We are shadows on our own
Lose ourselves in open waters
Always swimming back to shore
My addictions have no bounderies
Now I'm crying out for more
Can you tell
That I picked my poison well
That I have no more to sell to you
Is it really that important that I settle down
Does it really even matter that I have my doubts
I search for the one who bleeds
I reach for the one who bleeds
Like me
I have my doubts
I have my doubts
And so does everbody else
So help me take this all away
You gotta help me take this all away
Please help me take this all away
And bleed like me
So help me take this all away
You gotta help me take this all away
Please help me take this all away
And bleed like me
Is it really that important that I settle down
Does it really even matter that I have my doubts
I search for the one who bleeds
I reach for the one who bleeds
I reach for
I reach for
I reach for
I reach for
I reach for the one who bleeds
Like me!
Thanks, HorseRidinBbe! *hugs back* (I'm under the impression that there's another way to hug people on here, but I have yet to figure out what that is.)
I've actually never heard that phrase before, aquatickitten. I like it, though. Thank you. :) And yes, the old ladies sit at the front row in our church. The youth all sits in the balcony, lol. That may or may not have anything to do with the fact that we're very traditional Presbyterians, lol.
Thanks to you both for making me feel so welcome!
