Real advice to avoid being triggered???
Hello. Usually I am pretty good at avoiding self harming myself. I usually go months at a time without it and even at my worst times I am not a serious cutter. However, as weird as it may sound (or maybe not, this might be common. I don't know) when I see or read about someone self harming it makes me want to. Usually as long as I am not stressed at the time I can stop myself. But times that I am stressed I can't.
I know that obviously I should do my best to avoid media that contains such topics but that isn't always possible. So I was wondering what others do to stop themselves from cutting or to avoid being triggered by things.
