Enjoyed Wimbledon
Booking trains was not as much a faff as usual.
Sent off a profile for my Intro to Writing course which I'm getting excited about.
GoT was excellent and very well directed.
You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you wish to make.
- Had a good day at work.
- A client said nice things about me to my manager.
- I was stressing and my manager was nice and helpful and I feel better.
- I found m&m brownies in Asda, they're so good!
"I know you're sad, so I won't tell you to have a good day. Instead, I advise you to simply have a day.
Stay alive, feed yourself well, wear comfortable clothes, and don't give up on yourself just yet.
It'll get better. Until then, have a day."
Watched Lord of the Rings.
Started another mermaid blanket.
Now I'll play your ghost as my ace, whenever I'm led astray.
But I am actually good, can't help it if we're tilted.
I'm in my right place, don't be a downer.
- Lana booked her flights for JeLana adventures
- Wasn't even a tiny bit angry by the end of a lesson with my least favourite class, which must be a first!
- Made some children laugh (at inappropriate times, but life is too short for being completely srs bsns!)
- Stood up for myself a bit
- Lovely evening with my mum and sister =D
- My mum bought me some nice dresses
- Will be able to give Lana some enjoyment by sharing that I wasn't paying attention on the tube and ended up on the wrong branch of the northern line :'(
- Tucked up in bed with matchmakers and my laptop, ready to take on the mountain of stuff I need to do for tomorrow
^I presume that was reference to my navigational fiasco :'(
Today:
- spotted a way to make the cover lessons work better today
- hosted a srs bsns event at work that I was super scared of and IT WENT WELL. The feedback was all really positive and I'm having an NPD flare
- tutoring was fun
- my mouth guard thingy arrive so hopefully no more headaches from the jaw-clenching issue
- it is nearly the weekend =D
- monthly toybox arrived.
- saw the cat outside my mum's house on Google Streetview or whatever it's called.
- saw lovely friend.
- lunch at Nando's (still a distinctly meh eaterie to me, but still nice to go - plus it was my friend's turn to pay) and a yummy Rocky Road from Caffe Nero.
- managed not to do anything to LPE despite strong impulses.
- Wayward Pines to watch tonight.
- my mother has suggested a cinema trip to see Ab Fab and I've suggested one to see Bridget Jones's Baby.
- forgot to add: got a free cactus whom we have named Colin.

Plus well done Jenna on your srs bsns work triumph!
thanks! Well done on not engaging in LPE behaviours, though sorry you're struggling.
Yesterday:
- some students were very kind
- some of my colleagues were supportive
- had fun talking to colleagues at work and in the pub
- won a card game
- distanced myself from a friend who is distressing me
- went to sleep rather than getting myself into a state
Resident at work who is pretty much non-communicative in any other way than nipping/grabbing, held my hand when I was feeding her. It made my heart happy.
I'm only 5 days away from a week's annual leave. I'm gonna sleep so so hard. Gonna be sweet.
