im 20 in about ten days
and I first SI'd when i was 13 but then didnt do it constantly till i was 14

when i was a child i used to bite my little finger when i was upset or to comfort myself

I'm 18. I have been pinching myself, restricting my eating when im stressed/upset since i was about 13. But i've just had the worst year of my s.h.
I've cut, scratched etc.
I've only just realised the pinching, eating etc was classed as s.h within the last couple of months

I was 38 when i started cutting,
Im now 42 and i started cutting later in my life, ive been cutting nearly 4 years ,
just goes to show it affects everyone no matter what age you are.

I am 19, and cut for the first time when I was 14 but constantly when i was 15. I stopped at age 18 (there is hope!!)

I'm 27, and my first real recollection of ever self harming was at age 8. It all went down hill from there. Ever since then, I have SI'd in different ways, although like lots of others, I never realized that they were a form of self harm, until I started researching it a month or so ago....

Im 18, been cutting for a year of two... but looking back I've been SI'ing for as long as I can remember, biting nails, pulling hair, picking as my skin, hitting myself..

16 almost 17
cutting reguarly for 6 years
brusing etc for about 7/8
but did cut some random times for about a year before I started reguarly
