I think I'm doing EMDR too but I'm not sure. I talk about a lot actually, but I really struggle to talk about things related to what happened, I mainly focus on what's happening now and how I'm coping with things now.
The arguments around whether something is or isn't someone's fault are really complex, especially in their own head. It's like trying to win and lose a game at the same time for me and it does hurt.
However in this instance you say you did something under an implied threat, so felt threatened into it. So I would say it's not your fault.
