VACATION

Ok so my family and I leave for a week vacation with extended family tomorrow. To say the very least, I am extremely terrified. I am supposed to be following a meal plan for anorexia with 3 meals and 3 snacks, but I really want to try and eat intuitively as I have been willingly eating meals and snacks. I just really want to listen to my body for once. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do? I just want to enjoy my vacation and NOT have to worry about getting 3 meals and snacks in every day. Any advice?

Maybe you could start off trying to listen to your body and then if you look back after a day or two and see that you (honestly) have eaten the equivalent of 3 meals, 3 snacks, then it might be worth continuing with the intuitive eating?

Are you under a treatment team for you anorexia and what was their advice?

I hope you enjoy your vacation!

I am currently:

to be honest.... vacations come with their own stresses and upsets of routine. My personal view is that trying to eat intuitively is probably best left until you are home with a familiar structure to fall back on. It IS possible to enjoy your vacation whilst on a meal plan.
