I am re watching Heavens lost property and just got done watching every season and episode of Knights of sidonia a netflix original ^_^
You have to feel pain to know happiness.
You have to fall to get up.
You have to Hope so you can dream!
You have to look at the rough times and see how far you have come!
So I did go to HyperJapan a few weeks ago, I ended up going alone but I had so much fun and I did cosplay as Mitsuru. However I won't post any pictures as her character pose involves holding the evoker to my head, and that's not really appropriate for this site. There are pictures on my tumblr though so if anyone does want to see them my username is meowable-chan and I have a link to all my cosplay photos on my blog, just please be careful if you do want to see them.
It was definitely my most popular cosplay to date though, I'm used to having a few people stop me for pictures and stuff but HyperJapan was a whole other level, at one point I was being stopped every couple of minutes! I had so much fun!
Anime wise right now i've taken a bit of a break from current anime and given into my sports anime needs. After having so many people tell me that I needed to watch Daiya no Ace because they were sure I would love it. I have given in and fallen into sports hell once more. I love it! When I first saw Furuya I said he looked like baseball Kageyama and I have never said anything so accurate in my entire life. I can't stop laughing. Also Haruichi is precious, him and Miyuki are definitely my favourites.

At some point or another I'll take the time to do another lengthy update of all the anime I'm watching (or have watched since I last posted), but not at the moment. Right now, I just finished watching Katanagatari. Suffice it to say, I love it. Each episode is about 50 minutes long, which actually turns out to be pretty awesome. It seems like there's so much more time to develop everything happening at any given time. Regardless, it's a great anime. The art style seemed a bit peculiar at first, but by the end I kind of liked it. A lot, actually. Anyways, if anyone has time for another anime, add this one to the list.
@Palladion:
Also lmao, I tried to get all the sports anime out of the way a little while back, and that's....well, let's just say, there's more than I thought there would be. More importantly, I got most of the way through Prince of Tennis before my attention was drawn elsewhere. I've yet to go back to it, and there are a TON of sports shows just kind of sitting in my list of animes to watch. I have Daiya no Ace on my list, but I haven't started watching it yet. The new season and all of the other anime on my list sort of just pulled my away from my sports anime binge.
Also once again with the impeccably good cosplay. Great job yet again. It's no wonder people were stopping you to take pictures.
--Edit: Also, I've started watching Aoharu x Kikanjuu, and I agreed entirely to start with, then it just kind of went off in another direction. First episode, though, I was thinking exactly the same thing. When the hell are they going to find out that she's a girl? This is getting on my nerves.
OH also
@LoveTheNerdLife: How was Knights of Sidonia. I've been wondering about it ever since I heard about it the first time. I haven't gotten around to watching it yet, and haven't really looked into it at all (kind of difficult to tear myself away from all the anime I already have on my list). What did you think of it?
Just finished death note, now I'm watching Vampire Night.
I was upset at death note's ending, I would have thought they'd show Light in the place that is neither heaven or hell
I haven't been watching much anime lately because right now i'm actually on holiday in Japan. I am getting my anime fix by going to all the incredible anime stores and browsing all the merch. I have watched a few more episodes of Daiya no Ace though on the evenings when i've been resting. I'm almost at the end of season one now and I was not expecting that result from the match between Seido and Inashiro let me tell you! This series is so full of twists I love it!

I am. I'm staying in Ikebukuro, experiencing the Durarara!! lifestyle xD I've been here since the 13th and leave on the 23rd. On my first day I went to J-World which is an indoor theme park based on anime and manga from weekly shounen jump, and have basically been nerding out for 9 days straight. I'm going to cry all the way to the airport on Sunday I really don't want to leave!

I haven't seen or heard of a Battle Royale shop but honestly it wouldn't surprise me if there was. There are whole shops dedicated to some of the strangest things here!

that's one of the things I want to do when I go to japan
I can't i'm allergic to fish,or well seafood in general actually. It makes eating out in Japan very difficult I won't lie, but at least my Japanese has gotten a lot better having to ask in every restaurant in they have a menu in English and trying to explain that I can't eat ANY fish haha

I haven't seen them, I have heard of both of them though. Paradise Kiss is really popular i've heard.
I'm getting so excited for the next anime season. The second seasons of Noragami, Owari no Seraph and Haikyuu!! all start this month and I am so ready.
I've juts finished watching a couple of other series from last season too. I finished Charlotte the other day, which despite a couple of plot holes was really good. Made me cry for a few hours straight though, multiple times. I also finished watching Aoharu x Kikanjuu which has become one of my new favourite series. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I was ad to see that the manga hasn't been scanlated online past the first few chapters though. I'll just keep my fingers crossed for an official manga release in English.
Until all these new series start i'm just watching Daiya no Ace season 2 right now. I'm so weak for sport anime and baseball is apparently no exception.

I've been meaning to watch SAO for so long! I hear there's a second season too.
Does reading manga count? I'm still reading Noragami(as it's ongoing). I think I'm going to start reading Fairy Tail and Tokyo Ghoul again. Also Gintama; and I want to finish Soul Eater, it's one of my favourites yet I haven't been able to finish reading it due to poor concentration.
