*The big christmas thread 2009*

THE BIG CHRISTMAS THREAD 2009!

Tis the season to be jolly once again!
So here is the Christmas thread for 2009!We all know around this time of year, a lot of Christmas threads appear around the site which can be overwhelming for those who do not celebrate/wish to think about Christmas.
So this thread should be your first stop when you want to post something festive!
Post about:
What presents are you buying/have you bought?
Are you going anywhere unusual for Christmas?
What is your favourite thing about the holiday season?
What are your family traditions?
ETC!
I love Christmas and I love hearing about other peopleís too! So please get posting! Letís make this thread as Christmassy as possible!

Theres only one thing I ask! If you donít celebrate Christmas/donít want to get into the holiday spirit PLEASE donít post negative things here. This is a positive cheerful thread and it would be really disappointing to see negative comments within the thread.
HO HO HO!

Yey, Christmas! I still need to buy an advent calander for my mother. I love wrapping presents as well, i save it as a treat for relaxing at the end of the day

Omg I love wrapping up things. Like seriously, its a little bit obsessive haha. I like them to look good! I wish people would wrap things nicely for me!

Yeah, its that getting them wrapped as neat as possible but with a bit of style and personality - being a bit creative. Hehe, my mum has a piece of paper she has saved for years now, its covered in sellotape marks where its been opened and wrapped something else the next year. She says we can't throw it away now because its tradition. We unwrap the present then she takes the piece of paper back and folds it nicely. My family are wierd but I love 'em.

I have my advent calander :D

Still got a very small number of presents to get, I think it's about 3, maybe 4?

My christmas cards are all written :D

Wrapping up well stresses me out, but I love giving presents & seeing their faces etc. Me and one of my best friends are going to be very very naughty this year and open each other presents on christmas eve/early hours of christmas day. Just so she can't shout at me (=P) down the phone infront of my family hehehe.

Have left RYL.

I forgot about advent calendars! Must buy one.

I was going to go to Switzerland to do Christmas market shopping, riding on the Glacier Express, sleigh-rides and drinking gluehwine, but the travel company have cancelled it so I'll probably be freezing my balls off in my flat and eating nutroast.

Ha ha that sounds like something I'd do.
I bought Toblerone Tinies for my dad's birthday earlier this year and ate them then had to buy them again.

I was down in Kent (Tenterden) where I used to live this weekend, and saw they have late night shopping on on the 4th Dec. *Misses it*

Haha, that is definitely something I would do ;)

Yay, still got a few Christmas presents to buy.
I always worry I've bought the wrong thing.
And I have the Advent Calender :)

Heard Christmas songs played in college the other day, they always make me feel better.
An excuse to listen to them on the ipod I think... *downloads*
