I don't know if it's just my absentmindedness, but I've never heard the 26th being referred to as Boxing Day here, I do know what it is, but I've heard it being called St. Stephen's Day (at least here, and in my presence)
I would most definitely like to talk about the Very Serious Decision, if that's OK? Am I allowed to post in here? I'd value a little nudge from you guys to get me to do The Right Thing.
And I'm amused by people not having heard of boxing day!

Argh, I can't find the words. Basically I need to make a thread in Serious. But I don't want to because I'd rather completely crash and burn before getting to that stage, so at least I will have been 'properly' mental, and not just a lazy fake anorexic. But I'll probably lose one of my closest friends if I let it go further. And I should post-report this post myself for excess woe in general chat, but I just need someone to say it's ok to post for myself in serious.

Jenna, it's absolutely ok to post in serious. Promise. I know how Serious can be intimidating sometimes, so if it's more relevant to any of the other boards (ED/MH etc) you could try those if they're less intimidating?
Eh...not in as much pain as I was (although pain comes and goes). Otherwise, I'm very confused about feelings in general. I started a thread in the Mental Health board to see if anyone could relate.

Go ahead and post...here or serious discussion. I'll look for your thread and try to come up with a useful reply.
I'm also amused by how much our cultures are different yet we still have so much in common (I'm speaking of Americans and English/Irish/Scottish etc. in general, not just you and me personally).
It's silly, but in America I think today is just Monday Night Football. Which brings up another interesting difference in culture—how football isn't the same sport to each of us.
