What steps could you take, out of interest, if the contamination is real to get you out of hospital? Clearly what steps you are currently trying isnt working because they're forcing more and more treatment on you. Maybe if you put the steps in your own hands then you will be out of hospital quicker? If you want to be left alone that's not gonna happen.

I don't understand it

There's nothing else I can do Dawn
I need to get rid of it

Thanks guys
No one has even mentioned ECT today so I guess nothing is happening
I'm not going to ask about it in case they have forgotten and I don't want to remind them

I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!

Who else is fine?!?!?

Maybe the quicker you get on with the ECT the quicker you'll start to feel better.

I know you have huge doubts. Something like ECT wouldn't be suggested if it was pointless though. I hope you and the staff can work out something that will be helpful.

With just you, or other patients too? Have you said that to the doctor?

I think another patient has had it too but it didn't help her at all
She is suicidal though and it's often used for depression so makes more sense that she had it
I've never said that to the doctor
Maybe I should

I think you could definitely mention that concern and ask them how they decide on it as an option. That is something you have a right to know.

But if you don't understand something, isn't the sensible thing to do to take the advice of people who understand it better? Like, doctors?

Because I can feel it
And I hear the voices telling me about it and messgaes from the TV.

Had ward round. It was actually mostly positive.
My CC turned up too.
I have 2 x 30 mins escorted leave and I'm off 1-1
Still have to have ECT though but I think its going to start next week now

I'm sure you're aware that hearing voices and messages from the TV is a sign of being mentally unwell at the moment.

I'm glad your ward round went well and I hope ECT helps and you can take more steps forward.

Maybe it isn’t.
Maybe it’s the people that don’t think it’s real are the unwell ones

Thanks
I think ect is starting next week now

That is a maybe, I guess we might never truly know, but I think that when you're more well you wouldn't question that. How are you feeling now about starting ECT?
