Random question for you all:
When making apple crumble do you pre-cook your apples first or not?
Basically I'm feel lazy (not unusual, I know) and don't want to create extra mess in the kitchen by pre-cooking them but I don't want it to turn out crunchy!

It's really easy to make, Dawn!
I picked some apples from the tree behind my garden so want to make a nice treat for myself. Apple, sultana and cinnamon crumble... with custard. Yum.
Might take the risk and not pre-cook... I think either myself or maybe my mum has done it that way before.
Just brownie mix Beckie? Not cooked into brownies?
