Winter heating

Is anyone else scared that being inside in warm heating through winter could cause weight gain? I like to be a little bit cold most of the time, but the heating at work and home is up so high all of the time. I feel like being in these stuffy warm environments is causing my metabolism to slow down :( Does anyone else feel like this?

I am sorry you are struggling so much.

Do you have any support for your issues? Maybe you can discuss this with a medical type person who can explain how or how not that would actually affect your metabolism.

I just feel awful. I really want to hurt myself. Just keep reminding myself of the consequences. I don't know who to talk to and don't know how anyone could help.

Thank you, Kitty Galore, for your response. I'm sorry I don't have anything more positive to say. I hope you are going ok.

Have you seen your doctor about this?

Remember that hurting yourself will not solve the actual issue at hand.
What helps you to stay clear of it?

I was seeing my doctor about this back home but have just moved over to the U.K. So I don't have a gp yet. I think that exercising helps and getting enough sleep when I can and having faith that things will improve. I think that feeling better takes a lot of patience and I didn't have that this morning. Thank you for responding to me again.
