Great results everyone! I didn't get any this year seeing as I'm not in college at the moment. But last year I got ACDD. I was happier with my GCSE results- 6a's, 3b's, 1c & 2d's.
Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…

I'm confused by all this new A level system. AS-levels had only just popped into being back in my day *creak*
As it was then, I got 3 As in English Literature, Psychology and Religious Studies, and a B in my AS-level History. Which I am still quite amazed about, looking back.
Every year we have one of these threads and every year I can't help but feel torn up over what my GCSE results were.
So ladies and gentlemen whom are awaiting their GCSE results, I would like to say this; these were the first major exams you would have sat and if your school is as mine was then you will have been informed that should you not recieve what you expected then your life is over.
They however are wrong. Your life is not over, you're just expirencing a set back. This doesn't mean you should abandon your dreams now, there are other ways to get to them. Yes, they may take longer than you hoped but you are not defined by a few letters on a piece of paper. You are just as vaild as a person whether you have 7 A*'s or two U's.
It's ok to cry. It's ok to feel let down by yourself. That's perfectly normal. I did it last year when I saw my results. However 12 months or so on and I've picked myself up, gone to college albeit wasn't my first choice of course and gotten a job that I enjoy.
It's not the end of the world. You are 16 with your entire life ahead of you. Enjoy this summer and get ready. The world is waiting for you, no matter what your grades.
There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.
But there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.
I aint no abacus but you can count on me.

I got CC, in English Literature and Sociology.. Considering I did almost NO work this year, it's brilliant. Thank God I did my coursework well..!
And considering I was expecting DE or something, at most, I'm chuffed! =]
Got into my first choice uni so all is well!

it was my stupid dad who said about the A*s
She got 7A's in her different supjects ,
shes really clever , she finds education well easy lol
