What is Lunesta? I do not know the exact drug but if you tell me the category it is in, I can tell you more eg Tricylic Anti Depressant, SSRI, anti-psychotic (or none of the above!) etc

Drinking on ANY medication is dangerous & in a lot of cases your tolerance to alcohol is greatly reduced & so you have to be aware that your normal limits will not apply.

Alcohol is the only substance that can be absorbed into the blood stream through the stomach. If you are taking said medication with/just before/after consuming alcohol it will be absorbed too quickly, which can potentially cause brain damage.

It is not recomened to drink on lunesta. This is because the medication is a sedative. That taken with alcohol can put you in a dangerously deep sleep, where your breathing my be affected.

Take care
