Posting here instead of shouting at husband.

Need to vent. Want to shout at husband, but thats not a good idea.

I was out tonight (AA meeting) and I asked Husband if he could be finished in the bath by 10pm cos I desperately need a shower. He agreed.

I left at 7:30pm, giving him 2.5 hours to have a bath.

Its now 10:15pm, he has just got out. It'll take 5 minutes to drain. Leaving me with 10 minutes to have a bath before dinner is ready. (Dinner was already cooking, so nothing I could do)

That just seems selfish to me. He has 2.5 hours, why did he have to take 20 of my 30 minutes?

maybe he got engrossed in the television or something and forgot.

also.. at least its only getting out of the bath late, its not like he's just announced he's having an affair with a man called Brad who is called Shirley at the weekends and who runs the chip shop down the road.


nah, you know what i mean. tell him he's a nob an then get on with it. you can have a long shower tomorrow, and by next week it'll be forgotten about.

either that or tell him you want to move to somewhere with two bathrooms! =]

Husbands just have clueless moments like the rest of us.

I'd like a second bathroom too or at least a half-bath. We did solve one problem by installing a 50 gallon water heater. I don't have to hear after my 20 minute showers "Is there any hot water left?" Don't count on it.
