it the question that keeps going round in my head-why?

I wonder, if my mum hadn't of met him 10 years ago, it surely wouldn't have happened to me.
but maybe it would have happened to one of the twins (my step brother and sister)
and as much as i hate them, I wouldn't wish what happened to me on my worst enemy.
although a few years ago I did and then I felt bad.

Unfortunately, I don't have any answers for you to your question...but I do think it can be more detrimental to think like this. You can't wonder what could have been. What would have happened if things had been different. Unfortunately, this is the way things turned out and none of us are able to change the past.

Believe me; I know it's easier said than done because I do the exact same thing. Running through different situations and scenarios in my head but it is what will make you unable to recover from it.
