- Got started on my research proposal, even if its hard to do research with kids with no kids
- tidied out my wardrobe and put my wellies and trainers in the bottom of it, which has resulted in V stopping nagging me about tripping over them
- Making Alison smile
- Indulging in my (academic & potentially useful) crush
- Didn't die in class (so far)
- Had to look up how to spell "riveting" so I could use it sarcastically
- Did some of my laundry (y'all do NOT understand just how outright SHOCKING this is)
- Former coworker checking in on me bc of my silence on Social Media

- trying vegan bacon! (Don’t actually recommend it but glad I tried it!)
- receiving an A+ gift in the post (vegan cookie recipe book)

- getting a work task done that had been stressing me out

- properly feeding myself for the first time in a really long time

- seeing L and exploring the abandoned & slightly creepy playground, and seeing & chasing the swans, and talking about just about everything & genuinely laughing my ass off, hearing her family stories & bitching about uni assignments and everything, and I just think I haven't felt this carefree and normal in a while and I feel about 3000 stone lighter inside
- bumping into my buddies from across the hall and having a brief chat :)
- having a decent, thorough shower at stupid o'clock in the morning
- apparently S is back in town, which is great :D

- finally went to collect my mail for the first time in a month or so & had Christmas cards from Jenna, Lillie and Summer. Can't even decide which one I liked best because Jenna's had a starfish face mask, Lillie's had penguins and the hope that we'll see each other sometime this year and Summer said plenty of nice things and called me her friend <3

- deciding that swans shall be called skydaddies from now on (makes *slightly* more sense in context imo)

- there is lots of snow
- V and I worked out a plan for the future once I've bought my own house
- sitting getting some work done because I couldn't sleep
