I'm sorry to hear that but I understand the feeling. You seem to care about getting justice for your friend though and you will be better able to do that if you focus on getting yourself well first.

It's easy to get to the stage of feeling like giving up when you've been in hospital for so long, can you sit down with the staff and try and make a plan for how you get home and what support and activities you'll have. You can't just lie in a hospital bed forever.

None of them care. They all make me feel sick.

Not a criticism, but I’m wondering who you could talk to for support? Your obvious options would be the hospital but it seems like you’ve chosen to shut out the staff (for whatever reason). You don’t talk about friends much either. What about your parents?

And if none of these are possible right now, maybe think about why and what you need to mentally change? I’m sorry things feel so difficult right now x

Yes it is a criticism and targeting someone when they're extremely low. You do not know what goes on in my personal life so quit judging before you know your facts.

It really wasn’t a criticism, and I’m sorry you took it as such. But if you lash out in this way or perceive comments that don’t agree with you as criticism that must make it very hard for you to engage with any support. It’s a really difficult position to be in but ultimately that thought process change won’t happen from meds, but by talking and challenging those thoughts.

And you said I ‘don’t know what goes on in personal life’, that’s possibly true, but people can only respond with the information they have and that is what you’ve shared on here. And since you’re reaching out on here it seems like you do want people to respond...

I'm not lashing out btw. But take it as you will.

What do you know anyway? Absolutely nothing.

See my comment above your last one. If you feel people are misunderstanding then maybe it would help to explain a little more so you get more ‘accurate’ support. Or if you don’t feel able to do so (which is ok), then maybe briefly stating what support you’d like so you don’t get upset by responses that aren’t what you were looking for. People are going by what they read and aren’t mind readers, but nobody is trying to upset you.

Really hoping for discharge today. Really don't know if I have much chance but I've got lots of arguments written down. I'm anxious.

I hope you get what you need. They might start planning more quickly for discharge if they agree with what you've written. Discharge today wouldn't seem likely I don't think. Good luck.

That's progress though. How do you think you can make the most of the time that you have to be there?

If you get worse surely that will mean they might think you can't be discharged?

No I've explained my reasons for discharge and warned them that I will only get worse by being here
